The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1986. At present the department has 2 full time faculty members and one on lecture basis. Department members are very active in the field of Research The Faulty has 16 publications to its credit. and have attended several National and International conferences in India and have already completed minor research project sanctioned by UGC. Many of our students have successfully completed M.Sc. and B. Ed. and have established as teachers in different Schools and Colleges in Goa and outside. Mathematics has immense potential for not only getting teaching positions in Schools, College and Universities but also has exciting opportunities in the field of research in all subjects, where mathematics modeling has become the order of the day.
